Hey Coach, Player, Parent,

· Team USA Read 4 Takeaways on Team USA from the WBSC Softball Group Stage Event AUSL Six games, zero runs allowed by the pitching staff, and Maya Brady piling up 11 hits with 5 homers. Patty Gasso has 12 months to sort out the LA28 picture. Coaches: watch how this staff attacks hitters. |
· Mindset Read Rylie Boone Is Learning to Play Like a Little Girl Again AUSL She hit .349 in her first AUSL season by remembering it's a kids' game and letting frustration go faster. Players and parents, this is the whole mental game in one story. |
· College Outlook Read D1 Fall Report: Purdue D1Softball Purdue is chasing a postseason spot in 2027 after two near misses. Fall reports are the best window into how programs actually build. Worth reading if you're a recruit watching rosters. |
· Recruiting Read D1Futures: 2028 RHP Ella Tinsman Commits to Oklahoma State D1Softball Another 2028 arm off the board. Parents of younger players: the timeline keeps moving earlier, so know where your athlete stands and what's actually required. |
· Pro Game Read Rachel Garcia and Jordan Woolery to Bring Home Run-Hitting Talent to MLBx Mumbai AUSL Two AUSL power hitters represent the U.S. in a 3-on-3 home run derby on October 24 in Mumbai. Softball on a global stage, and a good look at what power really looks like. |
· Mental Game Read Staying Calm & Confident: Softball Season Mental Prep Softball.com Visualization, goal-setting and gratitude to handle pressure. Use the offseason to build these habits, not in the middle of a slump. |
· Train Train How to Become a Better Contact Hitter in Fastpitch Softball All About Fastpitch Stance, bat path, drills, mental approach and equipment all working together. No single fix does it. Evergreen, and a good checklist to run through this fall. |
